Obituary of Emmett Cleveland

Emmett N. Cleveland, 91, of Murfreesboro, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Veterans Medical Center in Nashville. Mr. Cleveland was born in Sugar Grove, AR to the late Max and Lizzie Cleveland. He was a minister for 40 years and during that time he pastored nine churches of which were Presbyterian and non denomination. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Cleveland was preceded in death by parents. He is survived by his wife, Constance Cleveland; daughters, Ann Phipps of Gentry, AR; Susan Leister of Bedford, PA; Laura Bassham of Rogers, AR; Rebecca Cleveland of Fort Worth, TX; Jennifer Gilliam of Murfreesboro; sons, Duane Cleveland of Bedford, PA; Neil Cleveland of Danville, IL; Allen Cleveland of Smithville, TN; Mark Cleveland of Murfreesboro; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and sister, Marie Barnes of Magazine, AR Visitation with the family will be Friday, July 23, 2010 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 10:00am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Norris officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Garden.
