Dear Connie, and all the children God Bless you all, and comfort you . This loss is Huge. Eternity has gained, graduation has come to a man that has so unselfishly given everything for the Glory of God. I will always remember Pastor Cleveland, how he helped me thru difficult times, and deep water. remembering you all...Love Lois

Dear Connie, We are traveling at present and have heard the news of Emmett's passing. We send our deepest sympathy to you and the family. We know that Emmett is with the Lord, but we also know that his place at home will now be empty. We remember a man deeply admired for the stand that he took for the gospel. He stood a separated believer when so many compromised. I compare him to Samuel Rutherford, who suffered for his stand. I will close off with two verses from Immanuel's Land which I think epitomize Emmett's Testimony "I have wrestled on toward heaven against storm and wind and tide, Then Like a weary traveler that leans upon His guide, Amid the shades of evening while sinks life's lingering sand, I'll hail the glory dawning in Immanuel's land. I will not gaze on Glory but on my King of Grace, Not at the Crown He giveth but on his pierced hand, For the Lamb is all the Glory in Immanuel's Land. " We will be Praying for you! To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Dear Allen & Family: My deepest sympathy on your great loss. As I read Emmett's obituary, it is obvious he lead a blessed life and touched and guided many people in God's ways. Surely, this is how we should all strive to live and I'm sure he is being rewarded today. God bless you all through this difficult time. My prayers are with you and Emmett. John Van Naarden
