My dearest Darwyn, I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet wife, Marilyn. Jimmy Smith has so graciously kept me informed of you and your whereabouts and Marilyn's condition. With the recent loss of my husband I can painfully say I understand how you feel and what you are going through. You and your family are certainly in my prayers. I remember you and Marilyn from Glenn Dale Baptist church when we had the Challenge to Build Program and I was the Publicity Director. You and Marilyn have always left a great impression on me as how Godly people should act and left a great impression, also, of how a married couple should honor God and give Him the Glory for their marriage and life together. Although my family and I have known the Spinks for a number of years, it is only recently that I got to know Marilyn well. She was a great conversationalist and I enjoyed my visits to their home where we discussed everything under the sun. My family and I have been blessed by the Spinks in so many ways.
