Josh Ervin, 24, of Murfreesboro passed away Friday, October 30, 2009 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Josh was born in Nashville, was a past student of Riverdale High School and a 2003 graduate of Rutherford County Community Learning Center. He was a Security Guard for Cinram Logistics and attended Minerva Drive Church of Christ.

Josh was preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul Mathis. He is survived by his wife Tara Ervin of Murfreesboro; Father, John (Dixie) Ervin of Columbia, MO; mother, Tracey (Frank) Scussell of Hilliard, FL; sisters, Melissa Johnson; Francis Scussell; Alisha Scussell; Savannah Scussell; Tisha Ervin; Amber Ervin; Casey Ervin; brothers, John Ervin Jr.; Matthew Scussell; Cameron Ervin; grandmother; Sheila Mathis of Murfreesboro; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law, Terry and Sonya Baird of Woodbury; Brother-In-Law and Sister-In-Law, Jeremy and Holly Baird of Woodbury; nephew, Cody Baird; and niece, Audrey Baird.

Family will receive friends Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Sunday, November 01, 2009 at 3:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating. Burial will follow at Republican Grove Cemetery.
