Dear Kersten and family, I was so sorry to learn of the passing of your mother....It doesn't seem possible that so much time has passed, and that our parents are the ages they are---and we are the ages we are! I lost my mother about 18 months ago, and just wanted to send my sympathies to you....Losing a mother is such a terrible loss...But whenever you are missing her, just look in the mirror---I know you will see her there! That is what I do...You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Joanne's appreciation and love of life is a lesson for all. She savored every moment for she knew it was a gift! We shall miss her but have so much to remind us of her kindness, her zest for life and her love of learning. Blessings to Klaus and the family, David and Kathy Jones

I knew Joanne and the Kallenberger family for 40 of my 43 years. Kersten is one of my first, longest and dearest friends to this day. Joanne was always Mrs. K and sometimes Mom to me. I was sad to hear of her passing, as I know how much she lived life to the fullest in service for others. My condolences and heartfelt prayers go out to Klaus, Kersten and Kris. Each of you shall receive many big mental hugs. I wish I could be there in person. Love, Scott

Dear Kallenberger Family, A special lady has left a void in our circle, but not our memories. Always quick with a compliment, a giggle at a joke and her lovely smile, Joanne had a wonderful way of letting you know she valued your friendship. She adored you all and that was obvious. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow.
