Sadness came today when we read about his death on May 12, 2014. Loving thoughts come to mind when we think of him and especially his deceased wife Samara who was a faithful employee of the International Women's Ministries Department. Her skilled finishing touches on any published item always blessed so many - We thank God for the rich legacy they leave for their family and others. May God's peace and comfort be yours is our prayer. Ruth and O.C. McCane

My deepest sympathies are with Bro. Stanfield's family. Lonna and I were in Lee Singers together in 1968-69 and roomed together on tour. Lonna, may God comfort you and your family with the comfort that only He can give.

My heart is indeed heavy as I think of the loss of a most beloved human being! But, it is also very happy as I know that Bro. Stanfield is in heaven and enjoying his just reward! I met and fell in love with Bro Stanfield during the early 70's when, as a teen, I lived at the Church of God Home For Children, in Sevierville, Tennessee. Bro Stanfield made me feel loved and welcomed me and my siblings with open arms. He made a lasting impression on me as he was only there from 71-72. I love him very much and I will see him again one day. My thoughts and prayers are with the Stanfield family and I love you all very much. May God bless and comfort you as only He can!

Bro. Stanfield was Asst. Superintendent at the Home for Children in the 70's when my hubby, Dave & I were houseparents there. He was dearly loved. Now he is at home with Jesus! Praying for Comfort for the family. ❤️

Our deepest sympathy to the family. I worked at Green Bank and Capital Bank in White House Tn. Stanfield and I had so many wonderful talks about our Lord. He knew my father-in-law Eld. H.C. Vanderpool and I would relate messages between the two. Stanfield was such a sweet person and truly shared his love for the Lord with those he met. May God comfort all of you with the wonderful memories of Stanfield's work. Romans 8;28 Rebecca and Bob Vanderpool
