Richard Kovick, 74, of Murfreesboro, TN and formerly of Owosso, MI, went to be with his Lord on October 28, 2013. He was surrounded by his loving family. He grew up in Owosso and went on to have a successful sales career in the trucking industry, living in many different parts of the United States, then retiring in Murfreesboro near his children and grandchildren. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Maxine (Morris), daughter Tori (Alan) Koenig of Nolensville, son Tim (Renee) Kovick of Brentwood, and grandchildren Jacob and Avery Kovick. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, October 31, 2013 from 11:00am until the Memorial service at 1:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home, Innsbrooke Blvd with Dr. Noel Schoonmaker officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Richard Hirstein, Vinnie Agosta, Jerry Allen, Max Devin, Gary Scott, John Farmer, Del Armstrong, Richard Jameson, and Warren Perkins. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
