Obituary of LCPL Joseph Vanhoose

Lance Corporal Joseph M. Vanhoose, age 20 of Murfreesboro, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007 at his home. Born in Jackson , TN, he was a resident of Rutherford County. He entered in the Marine Corp in September 2005. He was a graduate of Riverdale High School and attended World Outreach Church. Lance Corporal Vanhoose was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Harvey Vanhoose and Gerald Tolley. He is survived by his father, Robin Vanhoose of Savannah; mother, Leisa Vanhoose of Murfreesboro; brothers, Josh and Jeremy Vanhoose, both of Murfreesboro; sister, Skylar Vanhoose of Savannah; grandparents, Jackie Scott of Savannah, Jerry and Barbara Baker of Milan; great grandparents, Ernest and Lillian Tolley. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, December 18, 2007 beginning at 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral services for Lance Corporal Vanhoose will be Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 11:30 am in the chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps.
