I'm not sure why I'm here looking at your obituary son. Maybe I just need to read what others wrote the day you were laid to rest. That was such a difficult time for me, still is actually. I'm not even sure that I thanked everyone, there was so much love and support! Son keep a close eye on your little bro, he is in Afghanistan and I don't sleep much these days. I try not to worry but it sure is hard.

I love you Joe and think about you everyday. We had so many memories and thats why everyday there is something that reminds me of you. I am praying for you all. Joseph's life was not long but it was full and honorable. The service performed by Joseph for his country allows the rest of us to sleep at night, safe from our enemies. I was Joseph and Josh's First Grade teacher. I am so saddened to hear of Joseph's passing. To his family, I send my prayers. Joseph was a wonderful kid that always had a smile. I am so proud of all he accomplished. I know God has even bigger plans for him now.
