Obituary of John Wilson

John Wilson, 65, of the Cainsville Community, passed away Friday, November 23, 2007. He was born in Nashville to Dewey and Lois Wilson. John retired as a sports photographer with Channel 4 after 30 years then continue part time with them. After retirement he went to his second career being a sports photographer with Middle Tennessee State University sports program. John was the first sports photographer in Tennessee. He was a member of the Cainsville Methodist Church. John is preceded in death by his mother, Lois Wilson; granddaughter, Jade Beasley; and his most precious Priscilla and Bandit who went with John to be with the Lord. He is survived by his wife Harriette Wilson, owner of Florist By Design and of the Cainsville Community; daughters, Shelley Murphy and husband Sgt. Shawn Murphy of the Murfreesboro Police Dept and Briana Park of Akron, OH; grandchildren, Samantha Beasley, Brooklynn Shaw, Bailey Park, Grace Murphy, Cody Reed and Vicki Reed; father and stepmother, Dewey and Jane Wilson of Nashville; sister, Betty Marina of Hendersonville and Linda (Jim) Thompson of Nashville. A pleuthera of cousins, uncles and friends. A special thanks to Claire Bolton and Dan and Cindy Jasper. A Celebration of Life Service directed by Norm Partin will be 11:00 am Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Neuman officiating and special speakers Rudy Kalis and Bill Hall. Music provided by a very special friend. Burial will follow at Donnell Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 28, 2007 beginning at 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be the Murfreesboro Police Department Motor Officers.
