I had the enormous honor and privilege of knowing and working with Gary. He and I wrote a few songs together and I was always in awe of his talent. He was a wonderful guy and I miss him so much. My thoughts and prayers and with Judy and the family.

I graduated with Gary. He was such a unique and geniune guy. He was so talented when it came to music. He moved away shortly after graduation, so most of us in his class haven't seen much of him since. The few times I have seen him or spoken to him, he was still the same, Gary. Everything that I ever heard about him was good and the people he has connected with over the years still say the same things about him that we knew of him in school. How good, talented, gentle, and geniune he was. You see, even with his success, he remained the same great person that we all knew. That says alot about a man. Success usually changes people, but not Gary. There was never a doubt about how much he loved his wife and children. They were his world. I am so sorry for his wife, children, brothers and sisters lose. Not to forget to mention all the many friends he has made along the way in this thing we call life. I know he will be greatly missed. Just know that you all have great memories of him and that some sweet day, you will see him again. Can you just imagine the great music he is playing now with so many of the other great entertainers that have gone on before him.

Although I haven't seen Uncle Gary and Aunt Judy since I was a little girl, I have fond memories of my Uncle. I always viewed him as "my famous Uncle." He was a beautiful soul that unknowingly touched many lives, including my own. Rest in peace, Uncle Gary. Aunt Judy, I'm praying for you.
