Obituary of Edward Thomas Wade
Please share a memory of Edward to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Edward Thomas Wade, affectionately known to most as Eddie Wade. Born on February 8th, 1974, Eddie peacefully departed this world on February 26th, 2024, in his hometown of Murfreesboro, TN, surrounded by the unwavering love of his family and friends.
A native of Middle Tennessee, Eddie's life unfolded in the embrace of Murfreesboro and its vibrant surroundings, including the bustling streets of Nashville. He proudly graduated as a Warrior from Riverdale High School in the Class of 1992, where he laid the cornerstone for a life characterized by adventure, generosity, dedication, kindness, and an insatiable curiosity.
Throughout his journey, Eddie was known for his boundless zest for life and his passion for exploring the world in all its splendor. He possessed a deep love for the arts, music, diverse cultures, and the rich tapestry of humanity, immersing himself in experiences that enriched his soul and ignited his imagination.
Eddie was not merely a friend; he was a source of strength and support to countless loved ones, offering a compassionate ear, a steady shoulder, and a radiant smile that could dispel even the darkest clouds. His genuine kindness and unwavering loyalty touched the lives of all who crossed his path and will be sorely missed.
He is survived by Greg & Heaven Lea Emery (his son-in-law, daughter, & unborn grandchild), Fay Wade (his beloved mother), Walt Wade (his brother), Daisy, Lily, & Wilmer (his 3 Godchildren), and many friends whose boundless love will forever illuminate his memory. Eddie is preceded in death by Charles R Wade (his father). He also leaves behind his dog, Bear.
While services will be private, there may be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Such an event will be shared on his memorial website. The family requests you share any memories and photos you have of Eddie on his memorial website. They will be read and cherished by those who loved him most.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation made in honor of Eddie Wade to Rutherford County PAWS or Nashville Cares. These are both nonprofit organizations he was passionate about.
Let us find solace in the enduring memories we hold dear and his profound impact on our lives. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever reside in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have called him friend. Rest in peace, dear Eddie, knowing you will forever be cherished and remembered.
