I was saddened to hear of Squire's passing and my heartfelt sympathies go out to his family and our mutual friends. Squire was a great musician and had a big zest for life. I remember many times laughing ourselves into tears about one crazy band related incident or another. I wish I could be there on the 28th. to pay my respect and say hello to mutual friends and bandmates from Squire's life. He will be remembered fondly by me and the other members of Cirkus, not to mention the many people he brought so much pleasure to with his music great spirit. Regards Steve Quinney

Sheila and Family, A very sad day for all of us who considered Squire a member of our family. Growing up with him and enjoying the times of our life will always live on in my heart. I will always remember the great times we had ! I was blessed to have a great friend like Squire and today is one of the saddest in my life. Hope to see you all in Johnson City on Saturday

I was shocked and sad to that Mike has passed away. I had known him since 1966, when my family first moved to Johnson City and played in a couple of bands with him when I was more or less a beginning guitarist in my teens. I'm bracing myself for the all the memories to flood back and I certainly wish him a peaceful rest.
