Obituary of Gene L Johnson Jr
It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrows that we announce that Gene (Sonny) Johnson Jr. left this earth on June 1st 2019. Sonny was born on July 23, 1970. Sonny was a quiet person that was an avid Dallas Cowboy, Tennessee Volunteers, and Nascar fan. He worked as a process engineer in the injection molding field. His love for knowledge often found him at his computer studying whatever had complexed his mind that day. He was a highly intellectual person who loved a challange.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gene Johnson of Florence, AL and Patsy Elaine Lawhorn of Estillsprings, TN. He is surrvived by his daughters Alex and Emily Johnson of Murfreesboro, Tn; two sisters Gina Brown of Summertown,Tn and Geri Wilson of Cypress Inn,Tn along with 5 neices and nephews and 5 great neices and nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 6th at 2:00 PM with burial immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery
