I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the loss you have suffered! I too have lost many to “our enemy death” (1 Corinthians 15:26) and the Bible has provided me with so much comfort and hope to endure the pain! Psalms 34:18 tells us that God is close to the broken-hearted and he saves those crushed in spirit. Our Lord Jesus said, “For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day.” (John 6:40) Yes, God truly cares about us and Jesus tells us we will see our loved ones again! I hope this brings you a measure of comfort as you endure this most difficult time.

Alex and Emily, we are so sorry for the loss of your father. May you find comfort and love in the memories you shared with him. You are in our thoughts and prayers and we love you both very much. Remember, your mom and dad is always watching over you both!
Safely Home
I am home in heaven, dear ones;
Oh so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in heaven at last.
Did you wonder how I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh, but Jesus' love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.
And he came himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus' arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still;
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's will.
There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remains,
You shall rest in Jesus' land.
When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!
