Raymond Beverly posted a condolence

I was a classmate and good friend of Natalie at Berea College (1947-1952). We never exactly had a college romance, but we did spend a lot of time together and I have warm memories of her cheerful, sassy personality. We stayed in touch through all the years, and I especially enjoyed her "Christmas newsletter poems". In later years my wife and I visited with her and Clarence at Berea reunions and came to appreciate them as a devoted couple. I much regretted Clarence's long illness- he was a kind and brilliant man. My own wife died with Parkinsonism last year, and I can understand that difficult period of both lives.
May Natalie rest in peace and brighten Heaven's campus as she brightened the Berea Campus so long ago!! She was a great lady.

Sending love to the family during this difficult time. I have known Mrs. Chesnutt since Benecia and I were in college. She was spunky, energetic and a great cook! She will be missed. Love, Marianna

Dear Family,
I consider Natalie one of my "Sisters-in-Christ." We served on the Associational WMU Committee for many years together and she was a loyal and dependable member. We went through many trails together and she never wavered in her faith and character. She always had a loving spirit and wise counsel. She and her husband were missionaries for the Lord in many areas around the world. I rejoice that they are now together in Heaven and with their Lord and Saviour.
With prayers and love,
Juanice and Jim Winchester
