Obituary of William Lee Byrom

U.S. Army MAJ (Ret) William "Lee" Byrom, age 66, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, Tennessee. Lee was born August 29, 1949 to William Harvey Byrom and Virginia Hampton Byrom in Gary, Indiana. He served 20 years in the United States Army as a pilot of the Huey, Blackhawk, and Cobra air frames. He was a loving father to his daughter, Natalie Byrom. He leaves behind a strong legacy.
Mr. Byrom, was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his daughter, Natalie Byrom of Greenville, SC, younger brother, Michael Byrom, and younger sister, Brenda Farris, both of Estill Springs, TN.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Little Hurricane Baptist Church in Winchester, TN. The service to follow at 3:00 pm with burial in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorial donations be made to Nashville Rescue Mission. Donations may be made by calling, 615-312-1500.
