Mary Louise Smitty Baines was born September 22, 1943 in Murfreesboro and she passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital at the age of 72.
She was the daughter of Captain Arnold and Sarah Elizabeth Brown Smitty. She was a housewife and a member of Hoover's Gap Church.
Mrs. Baines was preceded in death by her parents, sons, James A. Bush and Harold Wayne Baines; sisters, Margaret and Bell; brothers, Tallmadge, Charlie, Henry, James and Wes.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Baines of Murfreesboro, three sons, Dallas Bush of Murfreesboro, Larry Bush of Lascassas and Jimmy Baines of Orange Beach, AL; 10 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren also survive.
Graveside services and interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 1:30 pm with Bro. Dwight Smitty officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society .
