Obituary of Timothy (TW) Wayne Sherrill, Jr.

The man. The myth. The legend. Men wanted to be him and women wanted to be with him. Timothy Wayne Sherrill, Jr. was born and immediately dubbed “our favorite child” to Tim and Julie Sherrill on March 16, 1978. TW died on Friday, December 11, 2015. TW loved Grandma Sherrill’s Southern cooking, fishing at Percy Priest Lake, Tennessee football, and spending time with his three daughters. Not necessarily in that order. When it came to excavating land for a house or swimming pool, TW was one of the best in the business. And he loved doing it. TW loved to tell stories. And you could be sure 50% of every story was true. You just never knew which 50%. What he lacked in academic achievement, he compensated with an over-abundance of charisma, charm, and humor. When TW left us last week to go fishing in heaven with his Uncle Eddie, he left behind his three beautiful daughters : Bailee , Adrienne, and Nellie Sherrill. He also left behind his sister, Jill Hartsock, and his two nephews, Logan and Ryley Hartsock. TW was killed last week when he rushed into a burning orphanage to save a group of adorable children. Or maybe not. We all know how he liked to tell stories. Visitation will be Friday, December 18, 2015 from 2-4 PM at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with a memorial service beginning at 4 PM with Pastor Lance Phillips officiating. Don’t be late!
