Elvis Michael "Mike" Russell was born on August 27, 1946 in Henderson, TN and he passed away at his residence in Murfreesboro on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the age of 69.
Mr. Russell was the son of Tillman and Exie Lee Robinson Russell. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp and worked in retail management. On January 10, 1970 he married Judith George in Cherry Point, NC.
Mr. Russell was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Judith G. Russell of Murfreesboro, two sons, Shane (Valerie) Russell of Knoxville and Ian (Terra) Russell of Seattle, WA; brother, Sonny (Liz) Russell of Henderson, TN; two sisters, Claudia (Mitch) Mitchell of Rome, GA and Carolyn Mayfield of Henderson, TN
The family will receive friends at Mr. Russell's home on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, 2-5 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warriors Project.
