Frederick Paul Summars, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at his residence. He was born on July 7, 1949 to Arnold Atchley and Julia Mae Summars in Ypsilanti, MI. Mr. Summars was a window maker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Randy, Tom, Bob, Lee and Burl; sister, Beverly Hayes.
Survivors include three sons, Kyle Summars of Murfreesboro, Timmy Summars of Pekin, IL and B.J. Abbott of Peoria, IL; three daughters, Kimmie (James) Early of Murray, KY, Wendi (Aaron) Hardwick of Murfreesboro and Christie Summars of Murfreesboro; brothers Carl (Kathy) Summars, Jimmy (Ellen) Dale Summars all of Cleveland, TN and sisters, Muriel (John) Glover of Cleveland, TN and Carol Bowling of Gulf Port, MS; four grandchildren, Alex, Jared, Bailey Early all of Murray, KY and Skylar Weeks of Murfreesboro; and special nephew Corey Summers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 2 pm until 4 pm with funeral services beginning at 4 pm with Pastor Nelson Mercado officiating in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
