Obituary of Raymond Leslie Morphis

Mr. Raymond Leslie Morphis was born May 23, 1955 in Maury County, TN and he passed away of Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville at the age of 60.
Raymond was the son of Robert Loyd Morphis and Reba Louise Hagood Morphis. He was a retired paramedic, firefighter and ems educator with 36 years of service.
Mr. Morphis was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Ronna Morphis who passed away August 21, 2009.
Survivors include two sons, David and Joe Morphis both of Murfreesboro; granddaughter, Ashley Morphis of Murfreesboro; brother, Louis Morphis of Jamestown, TN; two sisters,Lynn Woodard of Columbia, TN and Leigh Sims of Milton, TN.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 20,2015, 4-8 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home and again on Monday, September 21, 2015 11 am to 1 pm. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 1 PM with Joey Biache and Bro. Jim Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro.
Pallbearers will be Adam Green, Anthony Green, Joey Biache, Brian Biache, Joseph Nance and Daniel Nance.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
