Obituary of Deborah Haun Smith

Deborah Seaton Haun Smith was born August 15, 1951 in Memphis, TN and she passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro at the age of 64. Deborah was the daughter of L.Q. Seaton and Betty Jean Cagle Brewington. She was a loving wife, wonderful mother and devoted grandmother. She shared that love through fostering children, adoption and helping others realize the joy of parenting. Her smile was contagious and joy for life was reflected in everything she did. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Corner Stone Free Will Baptist Church. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Stan Smith of Rockvale; two sons, Joey Haun (Lesley) and Scott Haun (Holly) of Murfreesboro; three daughters, Suzanne Haun Harris (Craig) and Audrey Julianne Smith both of Murfreesboro and Julie Haun Proctor (Gary) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; step-son, Ted Smith of Murfreesboro; 2 step-daughters, Andrea Smith and Vanessa Smith Neal (Wes) of Murfreesboro; three brothers, Dale Seaton (Phyllis) of Memphis, Don Seaton (Jackie) of Lexington, TN and John Brewington (Neill) of Hendersonville ; two sisters, Kathy Smith (Gary) of Savannah, TN and Denise Mason (Andy) of Springfield, TN. 16 grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be Saturday, September 5, 2015, 1-6 PM at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Free Will Baptist Children's Home in Greenville, TN
