I am so sorry for your loss. I could tell you that Doug is not suffering anymore, but that is not going to make you suffer the pain of the loss any less, Please know that my heart hurts for all of you, he was a very special man. We at Calvary Baptist Church in Urbana, Illinois send our deepest sympathy and prayers to the family of Doug Dumpert. We are thankful for his support in the past here when his wife Michele taught a year in our Christian school. We have been praying for Doug and were sad to hear of his homegoing for his family left behind but know he is rejoicing in the presence of the Lord. We will continue to pray for the family and know the Lord will bring comfort as only He can do as time passes. God bless you all. John 14:1-6

Doug was such a blessing to my family. He taught a lot to my daughter Stacy. Tuesday afternoon on my way home this thought came to me, He woke up to see Jesus for the first time. Thank you Jesus for that thought. I am praying and will continue to pray for the family. I love you all! Proverbs 3:5&6 Cindy

Michelle, Melissa, Matthew, and Tiffani,
There are no words that can heal your hurting hearts but we want you to know that we love you and will continue to pray for you in the days ahead and if there is anything we can do for you, if it's in our power, we will! You, as a widow/fatherless are in a special class with God! He will become so much more real to you and you will be amazed at the wisdom, strength, and peace He will give you moment by moment.
We were privileged to know Doug! We always enjoyed his personality, with his great sense of humor! He was a great man who obviously loved the Lord and his family! He will be missed!
Love and Prayers, Jeff, Karen, Kyle, and Seth
