Jim was one of the best men I ever had the pleasure of working with at Pillsbury for several years. He was a hard working dedicated soul and a definite asset to the company. May God take him under his wing and cherish him as one of the best men he ever put on his earth. RIP Jim Lamb ,you were loved and cared for by more than you know.

Mr. Lamb always welcomed me into his home. When I first met him, nearly three decades ago, the same could not be said of the parents of all my friends! The last time I saw him was in the Hardee's on Tennessee in Murfreesboro. I had not long been in my new career as a teacher and having not seen him in many years, I strolled over and began conversing with him. Upon updating him about my life, he did not simply congratulate me, but was genuinely pleased and proud of me! My own father never lived to see me achieve this, so it meant the world to me that this man, whom I also held in regard, as a father of the highest caliber himself, should express his approval of someone who was not even his own flesh and blood! The philosopher Nietzsche astutely observed that "When one has not had a good father, one must create one." Fortunately, Mr. Lamb's children will never have to worry about that! God bless Mrs. Lamb and her family, and be with them, as they mourn their, and this world's, loss.
