Alfred Landon Fields, age 77, passed away at Boulevard Terrace Rehab and Nursing Center in Murfreesboro on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Mr. Fields was born in Morgantown, Kentucky on September 4, 1937 to Eddie and Leodie Cardwell Fields. He was a retired Real Estate Agent and Metro Nashville school bus driver. Mr. Fields was a member of the First Baptist Church in Donelson.
Mr. Fields was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Dorothy Higgs and Mary Fields and brother Dallas Fields.
Survivors include his wife Barbara Jane Tidwell Fields of Murfreesboro, two daughters, Condra Medford of Nashville and Kara (Chris) Prince of Murfreesboro. Three sisters, Ann Bastin, LaVon Hanken and Betty Higgs all of Louisville, KY one brother Darial Fields of Louisville, KY and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Post, Robert Hunt, Alex Post, Jimmy (Buster) Tidwell, Chris Prince and Eddie Hunt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 10:00 am until the funeral at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Nate Callender officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
