Robert Lynn Underwood, age 52, of Murfreesboro, died July 5, 2011 at Community Care of Rutherford County. Mr. Underwood was a native and life long resident of Murfreesboro. He was a past employee of Cumberland Swan and a member of Riverview Baptist Church.
Mr. Underwood was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Lytle and Hazel Virginia Underwood. He is survived by his son, Gary Walters of Murfreesboro; brothers, Tommy Underwood of Murfreesboro; William Clyde Underwood of Rockvale; James Underwood of Murfreesboro; sisters, Jean Murray of Smyrna; Darlene Hutchinson of Murfreesboro; and grandchildren, Sarah Walters.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the service at 2:00pm on Thursday, July 07, 2011 at Rockvale Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Joyce Merritt and Pastor Kirk Waggoner officiating.
