Obituary of James Ewing Fox, Jr.

Mr. James Ewing Fox, Jr. was born October 24, 1932 in Rutherford County, TN to James Ewing Fox, Sr. and Lottie Viola Cox Fox. Mr. Fox passed away on Saturday night, January 17, 2015 at his residence in Christiana at the age of 82. Mr. Fox was the co-founder and co-owner of Fox Bros. Electric, member of the Millersburg Baptist Church, Member of the former Rutherford County Civil Defense and a founding member of the Christiana Fire Department. Mr. Fox served in the Naval Reserves. He was married to Martha Ann Robinson Fox. Mr. Fox was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Russell Fox and grandson Shawn Bucey. Survivors include his wife Martha Ann Robinson Fox of Christiana, 4 Sons Jimmy (Evelyn) Fox, Rickey (Kristy) Fox, David (Luci) Fox and Joey (Mary) Fox all of Christiana. 2 Daughters, Melinda (Ralph) Pace and Melissa (Carl) Pope both of Christiana. 14 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 20, 2015, 4-8 PM at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 8 PM in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Hoffman officiating. Graveside services and burial will be Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 1 PM in the Robinson Ridge Cemetery located in Coffee County, TN.
