Obituary of Kenneth D. Lemmons

Kenneth D. Lemmons, age 85, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at his residence in Murfreesboro, TN. Mr. Lemmons was a native of Saline County, Missouri and a veteran of the US Army, serving in the 187th Airborne Division during the Korean War. He was a member of River Rock Baptist Church.
Mr. Lemmons was preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Effie Weddle Lemmons; sister, Joanne Zimmerman; brothers, Bryce, Jan, Vance and John Dale Lemmons.
Survivors include his wife Josephine Lemmons and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 10:00 am until 12:30 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Military Services will be held Monday, December 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Don Herron officiating with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Kids Camp Fund River Rock Baptist Church on Salem Hwy.
