Connie Stamps, age 50 of Bell Buckle, passed away Monday, March 5, 2007 at her residence. A native of Murfreesboro, Mrs. Stamps was a member of World Outreach Church. She also worked at Heritage Farms as a Blow Mold Operator. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Veara Pearl Lowe Nickens and brother; Jimmy E. Nickens. Connie is survived by her husband, Bruce Stamps of Bell Buckle; two sons, Mike Sanders of Nashville and Bruce Stamps Jr. of Bell Buckle; two daughters, Stephanie Stamps-Findley of Murfreesboro and Andrea Massingill of Lexington, Kentucky; brothers, Bobby G. Nickens of Murfreesboro and Kenneth E. Nickens of Clarksville; sisters, Jean Swinger of Murfreesboro, Joyce A. Ford of Murfreesboro, and Donna M. Warrnack of Murfreesboro. Memorial services will be Sunday, March 11, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Roger Thaxton officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Ascend Credit Union Memorial Fund- Bruce Edward Stamps Jr. Those wishing may send condolences online at www.murfreesborofuneralhome.com.
