Helen "Boozie" Cantini, 79, of Closplint, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 26, 2007, at the Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro. A native of Briceville, Tennessee, she had lived in Harlan, Kentucky most of her life. She was a former sales clerk and a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Olen "Tony" Cantini; her parents, Bertha Hobbs Idles and Louis Idles; and two children, Joseph Cantini and Peggy Cantini. Survivors include a daughter, Katherine Cantini Gilbert, of Closplint, KY; a son-in-law; a son, Anthony "Tony" Cantini of Harlan, KY; a brother; two sisters; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 11:30 Tuesday at Evarts Funeral Home in Evarts, Kentucky with funeral services to follow at 2 pm. Marjorie Grieshop will officiate. Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Murfreesboro Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
