Kay Wimsatt, 74 of Murfreesboro, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Wimsatt was born in Jasper, AL to the late David Wayman and Elizabeth Hembree. She was a former owner of 310 Pipe Shop and a member of Barfield Baptist Church.
Mrs. Wimsatt was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dawson Wimsatt, and brother, Lawrence Hembree. She is survived by her son, Howard (Brenda) Wimsatt of Nashville; daughters, Elisa (Dan) Thoele of Murfreesboro; Suzy (Robert) Taylor of Nashville; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Terry Ann (Robert T.) Butts of Franklin
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, December 16, 2010 from 11:00am until the funeral service at 1:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Byers. Graveside service will be Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 2:30pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park
