Obituary of Robert Kurzen

Robert Ressler Kurzen, 86, of Murfreesboro, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at his daughters home. He was born March 28, 1924 in Magnolia, Ohio to the late Peter Fredrick Kurzen and Ada Mae Ressler Kursen. He was a Distributor for Star Craft, a United States Army Air Corps WWII Veteran, a dedicated Lutheran and member of Grace Lutheran Church. He enjoyed life, loved the stock market and will be forever remembered of his outgoing humor. Mr. Kurzen is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife Rosemary Kurzen. He is survived by his daughter, Renee (Ken) Huber of Murfreesboro; son, Peter (Nancy) Kurzen of Macon, GA; three grandchildren; brother, Roger Kurzen of Canton, OH. Memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Wenck officiating. Burial to be in Westlawn Cemetery in Canton, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
