Juanita Halliburton., 79, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Northside Healthcare Center. Mrs. Halliburton was born in Murfreesboro to the late William and Athie Wright. She was a member of Philippi Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Halliburton was preceded in death by her parents, son, Larry Dale Halliburton, brothers, George and Doris Wright, and sister, Betty Smith. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth "Louie" Halliburton; daughter, Shirley (Dean) Gipson of Shelbyville; grandsons, Greg (Andrea) Gipson of Murfreesboro; Michael (April) Gipson of Shelbyville; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers, Ellis (Betty) Wright of Rockvale; Ed (Connie) Wright of Murfreesboro; sister, Barbara (Joe) Halliburton of Murfreesboro; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, November 12, 2010 at 1:00pm at Murfreesboro with Bro. Dean Gipson officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to give a special thanks to Northside Healthcare and Odyssey Hospice for their loving care.
