Obituary of Johnny Lokey

Johnny Levoy Lokey, 82, of Fosterville, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010 at his home. He was a native and life long resident of Rutherford County. Mr. Lokey worked as an ironworker for many years and was a member of Fosterville Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Lokey and Bertha Jones and his son, Wendell Lokey. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Lokey; son, Rickey Lokey; daughters, Tina (Terry) Harrell and Sandra Taylor; sister, Lizzie (Marvin)Stewart, all of Fosterville; brother, Ronnie Lokey of Bell Buckle; ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 11:00 am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Adcock officiating. Burial to follow in Fosterville Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be Monday, November 1, 2010 from 4-8pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. The family wish to thank Asera Care Hospice for their loving care of Mr. Lokey.
