Amy Virginia Smith, 82, of Murfreesboro, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Middle TN Medical Center. Born in Cannon County she was the daughter of the late Walter Clarence Hoover, Sr. and Amy Iree Tucker Hoover. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and previously worked at Chromolox.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Paul F. Smith; son, Randy (Kay) Green of Murfreesboro; daughter, Sanita D. Smith of Murfreesboro; granddaughter, Amy Huddleston; great grandchildren, Alexis Mitchell, Jaimee Huddleston, Jenice Huddleston, Malachi Huddleston; sister, Donna Hoover of Murfreesboro; brother, Bo (Geneva) Hoover of Murfreesboro.
Visitation with the family will be Monday, October 25, 2010 from 11:00 am until the funeral service at 1:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Anderson officiating. Burial to follow at Thyatire Cemetery.
