Billy Ray "Mule Man" Campbell, 64, of Milton, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Middle TN Medical Center. He was born in Murfreesboro and was a school bus driver in Rutherford County. He enjoyed riding horses and riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed life and lived it his way. Billy was preceded in death by his father, Albert "Tuck" Campbell and stepfather, Earl McCrary. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Campbell of Milton; mother, Mary Sue Campbell McCrary of Murfreesboro; sons, Marion Campbell, Jody (Jenny) Campbell, of Murfreesboro and Jesse Ray (Amy) Campbell of Bradyville; stepson, Michael Ables of Kenoshi, WI; five grandchildren; sister, Bertha Sue Trail of Murfreesboro; brothers, Winfred "Soupy" Campbell of Lascassas and Albert Earl (Mildred) Campbell of Milton. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, Oct 19, 2010 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Memorial service will be Wednesday, Oct 20, 2010 at 11:00 am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Daryl Whaley officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Stones River Manor, 205 Haynes Dr, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 or Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville, 2144 Fairfax Avenue, Nashville, TN 37212
