Obituary of Clarence Puckett

Clarence William Puckett, 90, of Eagleville, passed away Friday, September 24, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mr. Puckett was born on June 14, 1920 in Rutherford County to the late Clarence Franklin Puckett and Edith McDonald Puckett. He was a member of New Hope Fellowship and was a Chemist for the State of Tennessee. Mr. Puckett was preceded by his parents, wife, Lela Woodard Puckett, and grandson, Jeremy Rowland. He is survived by his loving friend, Rowena Lowry of Murfreesboro; daughters, Betty (Doye) Rowland of Eagleville; Mary (Bob) Taylor of Murfreesboro; Ann (Robert) Hartmann of Rockvale; grandsons, Tommy (Janet) Rowland of Owensboro, KY; Eric (Jenna) Rowland of Springfield; Dale (Jenny) Taylor of Murfreesboro; Michael Rowland of Murfreesboro; great-grandchildren, Haley and Madison Rowland of Owensboro, KY; Ashley Taylor and Grant Taylor both of Murfreesboro. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, September 27, 2010 at 11:00am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Jonathon Stepp officiating. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and sons-in-law.
