Carl Witty, 75, of Murfreesboro passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Witty was born in Cannon County, TN to the late Dibrell and Ruby Witty. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Florence Church of Christ.
Mr. Witty was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Witty of Murfreesboro; sons, Karey Witty; Mike Bush both of Nashville; Mark Bush of Murfreesboro; daughter; Karla Lane of Knoxville; 9 granchildren; sister, Lois Larimer of Woodbury; sisters in law, Sandra Lancin of Jackson; Rachel Hayes of Murfreesboro; Sandra Ann Burger of McMinnville; brothers in law, Larry Lancin of Jackson; Hal Larimer of Woodbury; Maurice Burger of McMinnville; special friends, W.T. Bibb of Arkansas; Jack Engle of Indiana; Norman Akin of Kentucky; and Dave Lawson of Florida.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, August 10, 2010 from 5:00pm - 10:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 2:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Marion West. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
