Minnie Blythe of Murfreesboro, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Boulevard Terrace Nursing Home. Mrs. Blythe was born in Watertown to the late Doc and Mary Ferrell. She was a homemaker and a member of Crescent Baptist Church. Mrs. Blythe was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Kimberly Michelle Blythe. She is survived by husband, George E. Blythe; son, Jason Blythe; grandchildren, Ashley Blythe-Kuprion (William) and Amber Blythe; great grandchild, Gage Kuprion, all of Murfreesboro; brothers, L.B. Ferrell, Bobby Ferrell, Wayne Ferrell all of Murfreesboro, Danny Ferrell of Franklin, Carl Ray Ferrell, Donnie Ferrell, Ronnie Ferrell, Larry Ferrell all of Lebanon; sisters, Dean Bogle of Murfreesboro, Dovie Christian of Watertown, Betty Olsen and Kathy Adkins of Lebanon, Marie Johnson, Christine Smith and Ann Wallace all of Smithville. Visitation with the family will be Monday, August 02, 2010 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 03, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Crosslin officiating. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you, and whispered, "Come with me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating. Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts, to prove to us, He only takes the best.
