Obituary of Mazie Simmons

Mazzie Simmons, 70, of Murfreesboro passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Simmons was born in Goodlettsville to the late Ben and Viva Adcock. She was a Data Analyst for Social Security Administration and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Simmons was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Simmons and parents. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Cawthorn of Christiana; grandson, Ryan Cawthorn of Christiana; step sons, Jack Simmons of Nashville; Larry Simmons of Brentwood; step grandchildren, Sherri Simmons; Scott Simmons; brothers, Alfred Adcock of Goodlettsville; Joe Adcock of Murphysboro, IL; sister, Ann Nicholson of Goodlettsville; and nephew, Ron Nicholson.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Friday, July 23, 2010 at 10:00am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Waldrop officiating. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
