Obituary of Jeff Boyett

Jeff Boyett, 42, of Rockvale, passed away Wednesday, June 09, 2010 at Centennial Medical Center. Jeff was born in Nashville and was a 1984 graduate of McGavock High School and a 1989 graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University. Jeff attended New Heights Chapel. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Richard Len Boyett; sister, Stephanie Joe Barnhill; step father in law, Samuel Hicks, sister in law, Tammy Cassidy Walker. He is survived by his wife, Julie Boyett; two sons, Cameron Len Boyett and Matthew Len Boyett; two daughters, Katelyn Marie Boyett and Miranda Marie Boyett, all of Rockvale; mother, JoAnn McDonald of Ashland City; grandmother, Dorothy Sanders of Nashville; mother in law, Evelyn Hicks of Murfreesboro; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Jeff was a dedicated father, husband, son and friend and will be deeply missed by all. Visitation with the family will be Friday, June 11, 2010 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 10:00 am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bob Johnson and Bro. Steve Decker officiating. Burial to follow at Cothran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the L. Alan Smith Scholarship Fund at Trevecca Nazarene University or to the Eagleville School Athletic Department.
