Obituary of Joseph Kish

Joseph Stanley "Pa" Kish beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, long time resident of the Leanna Community of Murfreesboro went to meet his Lord and Savior June 5, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer. Born July 23, 1944 in Warren, Ohio to the late Joseph and Wilma Delong Kish, he recently celebrated his 45th wedding anniversary to the former Linus Carol Taylor of Murfreesboro. He is survived by three children, Melissa Carol Utley (Bobby), Joseph Scott Kish (Wendy) and Angela Edwina Smith (Rick); eight grandchildren, Bonnie Elizabeth Russell, Matthew Ross Nipper (Melissa), Morgan Kay & Michaela Ann Wrzeszcz (Scott), Demi Marie, Andrew Dillon, and Breanna Taylor Potts & Erica Lynn Smith (Angie); nine brothers and sisters, Wilma Jean Bunce of Rootstown, OH; Mrs. Anne Isenberg , Paul Kish, Gloria Galbincen of Cortland, OH; Richard Kish of Solon, Ohio; William Kish of Allliance, Ohio; Mrs. Mary Smith of Kannapolis, NC; Kenneth Kish or Cuyohoga Falls, OH; and Theresa Kish or Ulvalde, TX.
Honorably served his country in the United State Air Force from 1963 - 1967 achieving the rank of E-6, then continued his service in the Air National Guard until 1980. Attended 1st Nazarene Church of Murfreesboro.
Funeral services will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home Tuesday, June 8th at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jim Gonyea presiding. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers are Andrew Potts, Matthew Niper, Rick Smith, Bobby Utley, Derrick Sloan and Scott Kish. The family will receive visitors Monday, June 7th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests friends and family to make a donation to Beesley Spay and Neuter Clinic, Murfreesboro (615) 890-6878.
