Miya Olivia Chatman, 2 years old, of Murfreesboro passed away Friday, May 21, 2010 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Miya attended Family Worship Center and will be missed by all. Miya was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Flossie Chatman, Emory Maccuallie. Miya touched the lives of many and will be cherished by her loving parents, Kimothy and Martina Chatman; sister, Kymani Chatman; grandmother, Sharon Wilson of Chattanooga; great grandparents, Jack and Shirley Wilson of Dunlap; aunts, Elizabeth, Amanda and Savannah Wilson, Marschelle, Sharon and Karen Slater Chatman; uncle, Victor Chatman; and her special other mother, Jackie Matherne; several cousins and loving friends. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 3:00 pm -8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life service will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Turner officiating. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kimothy Chatman, Dillon Matherne and Mustafa Slater.
