Brenda Kaye Stivers, 59, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 at her home. She a native of Waynesboro, TN and worked for Tennessee Department of Safety.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A.W. and Velma Skelton; brothers, Ernest and Billy Skelton; sister, Donna Wilbanks. She is survived by her husband, John W. Stivers of Smyrna; son, John Christopher (Shonda) Stivers of Dickson; daughter, Anna Cherie (Greg) of Abner of Old Hickory; grandchildren, Sydney and Christian Stivers of Dickson, Riggs and Cooper Abner of Old Hickory; sisters, Maxine Delawrek of Boston, MA, Marlene (Tom) Hickerson, Charlene (Tom) Walschlager, Patsy Borch all of MI, Carol (John) Brashier of Waynesboro, TN; brother in law, Joe Wilbanks; many nieces and nephews. Our greatest appreciation goes to Avalon Hospice. The family will have a private service for Mrs. Stivers.
