Edna Mae Burgan, 74, of Murfreesboro passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Burgan was born in Three Point Harlan, KY to the late Lee and Georgia Vandagriff. She worked as a Nurse Technician and was of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Burgan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Burgan; sisters, Helen Peace; Lillian Day; Hazel Wates; Kathleen Dozier; Jo Anne Powell; Georgia Lee Vandagriff; and brother, Glyn Vandagriff. She is survived by her daughter; Donna (Michael Wayne) Newby of Murfreesboro; son, Anthony (Michelle) Burgan of Rockvale; grandchildren; Donna Newby; Michael Eugene Newby; Leslie Deal; Joseph Burgan; Jacob Burgan; Kristina Burgan; John Burgan great-grandchildren, Brayden Newby; Whitney Baute; Nathan Baute; sisters; Ruth Kennedy of Murfreesboro; and Juanita Bradford of Crawfordsville, IN.
Graveside service will be Friday, March 26, 2010 at 1:00pm at Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Ron Byers officiating.
