Jim Butts, 77 of Murfreesboro passed away Tuesday, March 09, 2010 at Baptist Hospital. Mr. Butts was born in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Oscar and Mary Butts. He worked for Civil Service and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Mr. Butts was preceded in death by his parents and son, John Butts. He is survived by his wife, Welthy Butts of Murfreesboro; children, Cheryl (James) Mann of Christiana; James Butts Jr. of Lakeland, FL; Julie (Randy) Poulos of Manchester; Katheryn Butts of Murfreesboro; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Lou Stevens of Niagara Falls, NY.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, March 12 2010 from 1:00pm until memorial service at 2:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral with Pastor Tony Lee Buchanan officiating.
Graveside service will be Monday, March 15, 2010 at 11:00am at Middle Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery with Military Honors.
