Laverne Baker, 72, of Christiana passed away Thursday, March 04, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Baker was born in Fiskburg, KY to the late Hobert and Clara Fisk. She was a homemaker, a member of the Baptist Faith, and attended Sharpesville Church of Christ.
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Donald Baker; sons, Matt (Cindy) Baker of Murfreesboro; Michael (Paula) Baker of Murfreesboro; Terry (Billie Jo) Baker of Rockvale; daughters, Deborah Sexton of Christiana; Kayla Baker of Murfreesboro; Rebecca Duggins of Cynthia, KY; Vicky Evans of Walton, KY; Kimberly Lockwood of Falmouth, KY; brothers, Wayne Fisk of Piner, KY; Norman Fisk of Fiskburg, KY; 20 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Monday, March 8, 2010 at 11:00am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. James Lively officiating. Burial to follow at Miller Cemetery.
