We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Melissa, she was always so sweet to us and our girls. I will never forget having Jared in our youth group at Wards Grove. She was always ready to help us with the youth, and we thank her for that. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Karl, Karen Kristina, Kayla and Kelsey

We are so sorry for your loss. We met Melissa when she was helping Marsha at Watercolors. She was such a sweet, fun loving person, like her sister, and we missed seeing her when she went back to Murfreesboro.

Jimmy and family, You probably won't recognize us by our names, but we are old friends of Melissa's from when she worked as a leasing agent at Country Village Shopping Ctr. We always saw Melissa every few years it seemed at WalMart and would do a quick catch up. She is responsible for getting me and my husband of 23 years our first date. In 1986, Melissa, Teresa Bish and myself did a lot of rip-roarin' through Smyrna. Her smile and spirit will certainly be missed here on earth, but I'd bet my last dollar Heaven is having a grand time with her there. Please let us know if we can do anything for you all. Our e-mail is above and could you let us know what happened to take her so very young. God bless you all. Trey and Patty Jackson

Jimmy and Boys: I just want you to know that I love you all dearly. You guys are my family. This has been a tremendous loss for everyone that knew Mel. She was trully my "sister" and partner in crime. I have such beautiful and fun memories of her and her servant ways and giving heart. I just don't understand. I pray that God gives me the peace and understanding I need to deal with this. I love her and miss her more than I could ever put into words. She was my heart. I am here for you always. Patti J.
