Barry Dotson 62, of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009 at The Alive Hospice Residence. Mr. Dotson was born in Memphis to the late Percey Albert and Nellie Lee Parker Dotson. He worked as a realtor and was in the real-estate business since 1968. He was a member of Crossway Baptist Church and was a veteran of the National Guard. Mr. Dotson was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sandy Dotson. He is survived by his wife, Camille Dotson that he married on August 11, 1967; sons, Kevin (Catherine) Dotson of Atlanta, GA; Steven (Jean Alyne) Dotson of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Margaret, Charlotte, Sarabelle, Suzy, Jack; sister, Angie Mangrum of Parsons; and brother, Jerry (Jackie) Dotson of Jackson, TN. Visitation with the family will be Friday, October 16, 2009 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 11:00am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Long officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jim Spires, Jim Dooley, Billy Baker, Sammy Baker, Jerry Malega, Dwight Faircloth, Floyd Dean, and Chuck Wellborn. Honorary pallbearers are Crossway Baptist Church and 3rd Baptist Church men's Sunday School Class.
